New Scaffoldwood:
Wood type: European spruce - Artificially dried 18%
Finishing: finely sawn
Standard trade length: 300 cm
New scaffolding wood is untreated spruce, this is the original wood species.
The name scaffolding wood comes from the construction industry, as these planks are used to lay in scaffolding as gangways because these planks are so flexible (this is wet wood).
Spruce wood is a softwood type and therefore easy to screw and sand down, which is why this plank's great enduring popularity, we supply this back-dried.
Properties:
Dried scaffolding boards are kiln dried to 18%.
The advantage of dried planks is that you can start working with them right away and virtually no action will occur.
This can still be caused by temperature differences (hot/cold). If necessary, first lay the planks for a few days at temperature where they will be processed.
